Review

Plot Summary: A 14 year old boy, Shinji finds himself in the middle of a battle between an *Angel* and the
Self-Defence forces. Shinji is destined to become the pilot of a robot called Evangelion. Unprepared
he will have to use EVA-01 to defeat the Angel...

Throughout the series there are many questions you will be asking yourself. However, I recommend you watch all the episodes as it is really hard to watch a following episode if you have not seen the one before, you will just get completely lost. Shinji as a character in Evangelion I didn't like, as he just seemed a whiny
little boy, however some of the other characters make up for this.Sometimes, especially the ending episodes you get completely lost with what is happening, but this is one and probably the only flaw in the whole series. The mecha designs in this anime are great, Evangelion also includes great animation. The musical score builds
up to crucial moments in the anime but the series as a whole left me with some questions un-answered. If you enjoy this you will probably also enjoy Neon genesis evangelion: Death and Rebirth, and Neon Genesis
Evangelion: The End Of Evangelion.

Overall Score: 4/5
